Red Rocks Amphitheater Legendary rock bands will perform as part of Independence Day Weekend on July 4 and 5. July 4 will have a performance by Blues Traveler followed by Smash Mouth and Sugar Ray. Glendale Firework Show (The Best Show in the City) July 3rd Glendale Fireworks will light up the sky at dusk (generally between 9 and 9:30 p.m.) Best places to view the fireworks & Setup picnics are north of Virginia Street, south of Cherry Creek Drive South, west of Colorado Blvd., and east of Cherry Street. It commences with performance by Golden Eagle Concert Band. The cuisine includes the popular Mythos Food Truck.
