There is nothing sexier than a man and a woman gyrating over some Latin beats played by a live band. Thankfully, Denver has a lively Salsa scene that you, your friends, and your special partner can go to for a sizzling dance night.
To start grooving on some Latin beats, here are the best joints that feature their own Salsa nights:

Blue Ice Martini Lounge
Their weekly Friday Salsa nights have become so legendary they now hold another Salsa night every last Thursday of the month. If you want, you can come a bit early and get some lessons at about 9:30. After that, you can dance the night away to the tune of some great Latin beats.

La Rumba

After the free instructions, the night continues on to Salsa Hour for more Latin dancing that is followed by bachata, cumbia, and meringue. All these, however, is just preparation for the live Salsa Dance Party on Saturdays. An epic Latin night that goes on all evening long.

Opal Restaurant
You would think that sushi and Salsa would be a strange combination but it turns out to be perfect. You can get free lessons on Fridays and the open-dancing begins at 9pm. The best time to come is during happy hour because they have the best sushi and beer deals. Sushi, beer, and Salsa, a perfect way to cap the weekend.

Sons of Italy
Formerly hosted at D Note, the same promoter moved it to Sons of Italy and this is probably the best joint for Salsa Dancing in Denver. Beginners and expert dancers congregate in this joint for a night of Latin beats. If you are an experienced dancer, come in later than usual. Usually the beginners gets thinned out after a while and the more experienced dancers are left in the dance floor.
