A branding makeover has dubbed Centric TV the new premiere network for black women. Last night (April 23), BET Upfront was held at New York’s Ziegfeld theatre, where a discussion of future programming took place. Centric TV has signed a deal to air ARISE Entertainment 360, which is a daily talk show hosted by Lola Ogunnaike and Shannon LaNier focusing on pop culture in the African Diaspora.
Along with ARISE, a grip of great shows will join the lineup. The Game will be returning for its eighth season, as well as Single Ladies, 106 & Park, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and Being Mary Jane. The network will also be introducing a new series starring Diggy Simmons and Teyana Taylor.
