Denzel Washington is back to the action like he never left it in the the trailer for his upcoming film The Equalizer. As Robert McCall, a man with a skill set that includes killing a group of people in 19 seconds, Washington is in rare badass form as a “knight in shining armor” as he fights for the freedom of a girl he meets in a diner.
Reminiscent of the 2008 film Taken, Washington’s mysterious knack for combat and unapologetic charisma shine in the trailer as he takes on a Russian mob to save the female lead. Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Olympus Has Fallen), The Equalizer looks to be the kind of Denzel Washington thriller that can’t disappoint.
