The former voice of Elmo, Kevin Clash, beat his case twice against three men who claimed he sexually abused them over 10 years ago, when they were teens.
In 2013, Cecil Singleton, Kevin Kiadii, and S.M. (who will only be identified by his initials) lost their case against Clash, because of the six-year statute of limitations; but the trio countered back at the Court of Appeals claiming that they didn’t realize the psychological effects until 2012. After finding their verdicts “without merit” because the victims “failed to provide any reason why [they] were unable to discover their injuries prior to 2012,” their case was thrown out once again.
