Kid Cudi is all in with this film thing. After news broke that he would score his first movie, the rapper took to Twitter last night (May 9) to announce that his Satellite Flight track “Balmain Jeans” is getting the short film treatment.
Moreover, Cudder will act as the writer and director for the visual of the sexy, Raphael Saadiq-assisted song. The premise, according to his tweets, is “a spontaneous electric connection between two strangers.”

When a fan replied in hopes that Kid Cudi would be starring in the film, he replied “I’m El Nino in it! Ha!” We’ll take that as an affirmative and keep our ears to the streets for the premiere.
