if you were running out of reasons to hate on Macklemore, here’s a new one: the guy’s best buds with Michael Jordan. Taking to the court for a special performance at the Jordan Brand Classic at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Mack rocked a special edition of Carmelo Anthony’s M10 Jordan shoes. Following his performance – and posting the above selfie with MJ – Macklemore took to Instagram to announce his collaboration, an ode to his Northwest roots:
“I’m proud to announce the unveiling of my “Northwest King Salmon” Melo’s. Courtesy of @jumpman23 and myself. Never dreamed I’d have an opportunity like this. Huge shout out to @pdxreg and the whole fam.#sharkfacegang”
No details were given on if the “Northwest King Salmon” M10s will get an official release date as of yet.
