New Music: Lupe Fiasco 'Mission'

Many of us know someone who has fought or is fighting the battle against cancer. Now, serving as a celebrity ambassador for Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), Lupe Fiasco drops a new anthem, “Mission,” to inspire and raise awareness to help fund research of the disease. Featuring introductory anecdotes from cancer patients including singer Charlie Wilson, Lupe uses his verses to tell stories of those who have fought with different forms of cancer. Inspiring through the assertion that “I could’ve died but I came out fighting,” the song also serves as a tool to cheer patients on.

Through “Mission,” Lupe is also teaming up with SU2C to initiate various efforts that will be revealed throughout the year. His Tetsuo & Youth album is slated to drop this year.
