Donald Sterling may have stated that he refuses to let go of the L.A. Clippers and pay his fines, but the NBA will have the final say next month.
Today, the NBA charged him with damaging the league and have selected June 3 as his hearing date. According to ESPN, other team owners will vote to decide if he will be able to retain ownership of the Clippers.
While Sterling has allegedly asked for a three-month delay in the hearing, it’s likely to be rejected. Once the New York hearing is over, the owners will officially vote.
