See Backstory: Western American Art in Context

Backstory: Western

Catch the last week of this exhibit about America’s old West. The exhibit presents a Colorado-centric view of that part of American history. The focus will include text and imagery that defines Manifest Destiny, which was used to justify the exploitation of native people. It gives a backdrop of life back then, where right and wrong is not really as simple as black and white.
