Top 5 Thing to Do Around Colorado on Labor Day Weekend 2017

It’s the Labor Day weekend next week and the end of summer is upon us. So it is our duty and responsibility to make the most out of its remaining days and make sure that we end summer with a bang.

Whether you are looking for some outdoor fun, some family activities, or just want to have a quiet getaway, Denver has something for you to do.

To help you out, here are some fun options:

Watch Frozen: The Broadway-Bound Musical

Let it go!! Let it go!! Come on, I know that you know the song. This beloved Disney animation is now a broadway bound musical. But before they head off to Broadway, Denver gets to enjoy it first as Frozen: The Broadway-Bound Musical will be running for a few weeks at the Buell Theatre. Bring your kids and have fun with the whole family. Make your move, though. Tickets have been selling pretty fast.

You can even meet some of the artists deatured in these exhibits. Aside from the art, there will be several happenings around the area including different street performance. Catch Phish or GRiZ (or both) Shows

If you want to see live music, there are two bands doing separate shows this Labor Day weekend. First, Phish will be taking over Dick’s Sporting Goods for a 3-night series of their genre-bending music and extended jams. Second will be Griz with his self-described “future funk.” This will also be the premier of the GRiZ live band.

Watch the Colorado Rockies

The Colorado Rockies had a very forgettable match against the Arizona Diamondbacks last June as Jeff Hoffman was torched for seven runs. The Rockies may be looking to avenge that loss this Labor Day in front of the home crowd.
