The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival aka Jazz Fest is one of America’s most eclectic festivals, but it’s still very much a New Orleans festival. Several of the people who play the fest’s gospel, jazz and blues stages are locals, who end up going home and sleeping in their own beds that night, but there are also those that come and show their talents from afar. Here are some of the local (Allen Toussaint and Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers) and not so local acts (Trey Songz, Foster the People and Al Jarreau) that played Saturday at Jazz Fest.
